About

A 1963, Lakhimpur Kheri (U.P.) born of Professor father Dr. Govind Ram Sahni and housewife mother Smt. Santosh Sahni (nee Bhasin). Did DHMS in 1988 from Homœopathic Medical College, Abohar, Punjab as a distinguished student. Thereafter completed internship under dynamic Homœopathic Research Scholars as Dr. D.P. Rastogi, the then Director, Central Council of Research in Homœopathy, New Delhi; Dr. Hari Singh the then Director, Regional Research Institute of Homœopathy (R.R.I.H.), Defense Colony and Dr.Raj Kumar Manchanda the then Research Officer, Regional Research Institute of Homœopathy, Delhi (presently Director, Central Council of Research in Homœopathy (CCRH), Delhi) in 1988. Dissertation submitted was on ‘Hypertension’ under supervision of Dr. Hari Singh. When M.D. course in Homœopathy began in Punjab, the ‘student’ inside woke up and completed. M.D. (Homœopathy) from Guru Nanak Dev Homœopathic Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana in 2007, under guidance of great Homœopathic Legend Dr. Mrityunjay Ghosh, Principal, Bakson Homœopathic Medical College, Greater Noida (U.P.) and worked on “To understand the word ‘Rapid’ in the concept of Ideal Cure in reference to Acute Diseases”. As the luck would have it, Dr. Kirti had to face extra ordinary hardship during medical college life while studying homœopathy yet remained undaunted. Before starting Homœopathic practice in Pitampura in the year 1988 joined veteran Homœopathic physician Dr. Tilak Raj Chadha in year 1988-89. Then rented a clinic at Ashok Vihar in 1989 and remained there till 1994 before shifting to present place 6, Crown Complex, Community Centre, Ashok Vihar-II, Delhi. Completed primary education at Sumitra Montessori School, Sitapur (U.P.) and secondary education at M.G.M. Inter-College, Baheri, Bareilly (U.P.) in 1981, completed B.Sc. (Medical) from Hindu College, Sonepat in 1983. Ancestors were from village Bhera Miani, Tehsil Pind Dadan Khan of Jhelum District (Presently in Pakisan). Several ancestors upwards, were known as ‘Rangiyal’ for their furiousness and undaunted fighting spirit after Sh. Rangi Shah (son of Sh. Bhara Shah Sahni). Fifth ancestor upward, Sh. Gaura Shah migrated from Jhelum to Attock (also known as Cambelpur after the name of the then British District Magistrate Cambell) and become a big landlord. My father Dr. Govind Ram Sahni was fourth generation of Sh. Gaura Shah did his 7th class in April 1947 from home village Nara, presently in Pakistan. After partition migrated to Lakhimpur Kheri and completed Matriculaiton in 1951 and graduation from there only in 1955. Despite of totally adverse financial conditions, his hunger for study and knowledge remained unabatted and he went for his Masters in Economics to University of Allahabad under guidacne of Great Economist Prof. J.K.Mehta and other preessors and completed Masters in 1957. Since student life, he was involved in various social activities and then finally settled with Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) under influence of Late Madhav Rao Sadashiv Rao Golwalkar popularily known as Guruji, Sarsangchalak (Chief) of RSS in 1954. Sicne then doing social works thorugh RSS till date. Left home for social work in 1957 and after completion of his target returned home in 1959 and then started his career as Lecturer in Economics in Hindu College, Sonepat in 1959. Got married to ‘Santosh’, grand-daughter of Gokul Shah and daughter of Sh. Faqir Chand Bhasin of reputed ‘Bhariyal’ ancestory of village Uchhri in district of Attock, Pakistan in the year 1961
